SG Sports Distribution, Inc. is an online wholesale/retail business distributing skates and accessories from several brands (FR Skates, SEBA skates, Luminous Wheels) in the United States.
We are looking for a team member to manage Warehouse and General Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing orders, maintaining the wareahouse, accepting deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work effectively in a small team, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and have a desire to learn new skills.
Responsibilities:
- Pick & Pack orders according to the internal procedures, which include product inspection, proper packing, recording dimensions;
- Ensuring UPS/USPS pick up shipments;
- Plan warehouse floor/stacking plan to accommodate incoming shipments;
- Keep warehouse and working areas clean;
- Maintain shelves and stacks according to the warehouse map;
- Repair skates;
- Ensure shipping and packing supplies are always on-hand;
- Conduct physical inventory;
- Assist in providing support to various team members as needed;
- Make suggestions to management for improvements in warehouse operations;
- Collaborate with the team to remain informed about new products, services, and policies;
Requirements:
- Accurately track details, follow-up, and communicate effectively;
- Work independently and as part of a team;
- Motivation to improve internal processes;
- Able to solve problems;
- Basic computer skills (Office Suite, Cloud Storage);
- Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds;
- Knowledge of inline skate products, use, and maintenance (internal training provided);
- Positive attitude and energy while working in a small team!
Details:
Torrance, CA (~30-minute drive from Downtown Los Angeles, ~20-minute drive from Downtown Long Beach).
Full time position, Monday-Friday
Starting from $18-20 per hour with future evaluation for increase, based on the performance.
